Scheduled rest day

Food Log

Lunch: Tilapia, rice pilaf, salad, steamed veggies, roll, small cup of baked potato soup, the topping and crust from a slice of pumpkin cheesecake
Dinner: Big Mac meal from McDonald's (In an effort to reduce some of the caloric impact, I took the middle bun out, only ate half the fries (they were soggy anyway) and only had about half of my Diet Coke)

Monday was a long and busy day that started at 5:30am and ended at 9:30pm. It was a special day for Chad and me, as Monday was the inauguration service for Asbury Theological Seminary's 8th President, Dr. Timothy C. Tennent. It was a very fun day that included a special lunch with board members and trustees, and then attending the ceremony. Dr. Tennent's knowledge is absolutely outstanding, and combined with his heart for the church and his passion for missions, I know he is going to help lead Asbury for a long time. It is a blessing to work at Asbury, and I am so happy for Dr. Tennent and his family in this special time in their life.
