Update on Emma

I'm pleased to report that Emma is doing fine - she is back to her peppy little self and shows no sign of distress.

We had a big snow/ice/freezing rain storm move through Kentucky last night. I was able to make it to the gym this morning (after about 15 minutes of trying to get the ice off of my car!) and I was the only one there. It was very eerie. I wasn't able to get a really good workout in because the power kept going out...which can be very tricky when running on a treadmill. But I was able to get 2 miles in at an 8:30 pace, so at least I got a good sweat going.

Here's wishing for an early spring!

First of all, I'm thrilled to hear that Emma is still fine. I'm sure your nerves are relieved -- she would have shown signs by now if she was really injured, right?

Second of all, I'm currently feeling pretty lazy...I had a snow day yesterday, and I'm within walking distance of our gym...and I still stayed home in our warm house. !!! Will you still be my friend?

Oh I'm glad Emma is ok! What a scary moment. She's a super cutie by the way.

I can relate exactly to two bummers cited in your last post. We also are not getting the big rebate were were hoping for/counting on, although thankfully we do not owe any (we are getting a miniscule refund). Also, I was super sad to hear Steve is cutting back on his podcasting. I had no idea it was such a time burden for him, so I'm glad he's making this choice, but still, :(.

Have a great weekend!
